Abigail Pasmore is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a First Officer for United Airlines since September 2021. With a strong background in human factors, Abigail holds the position of Director of Human Factors at the Air Line Pilots Association since February 2021 and previously worked as a Research Associate at Human Factors MD, LLC. Earlier career roles include First Officer at PSA Airlines, where Abigail returned after furlough, and various positions at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, including Check Airman and Instructor Pilot. Abigail’s educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Human Factors and Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aeronautical Science, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
