David Devine

David Devine has a strong background in risk management and operations, with over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. David currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Alpaca, where they began in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Wells Fargo Securities as a Vice President and Director from May 2015 to October 2021. From 2013 to 2015, David served as a Senior Risk Manager at US Banccorp. David spent seven years at Wells Fargo, starting in July 2006, where they held the role of VP Operations. During their time at Wells Fargo, they successfully managed and transitioned operational teams, ensuring a smooth service and functionality for clients. From 1997 to 2006, David worked at US Bank as an AVP Operations, overseeing the financial and operational functions for various teams. David began their career at American Express as a Financial Advisor Assistant in November 1996.

David Devine attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a BA in Finance.
