Software Engineer (Go, Kubernetes) at Alpaca

Gábor Lekeny has a diverse work experience in various roles related to software engineering, devops, and cloud development. Gábor started their career at Ponte Kft. as a Software Developer in 1996. In 1999, they moved to MATÁV, where they worked as a Unix System Administrator.

In 2000, Gábor joined Hungarian Telekom as a Senior Unix Sysadmin and DevOps Engineer, where they operated and supervised scalable and heavily loaded websites. Gábor stayed with Hungarian Telekom until 2014.

From 2014 to 2016, Gábor worked as a Cloud Developer at Ericsson. Then, in 2016, they joined Origo Zrt. as a DevOps Engineer. Gábor worked there until 2017.

Gábor's next position was at Hortonworks, where they served as a DevOps/Software engineer from 2017 to 2019. Gábor then joined Cloudera in 2019 as a Staff DevOps/Software Engineer, focusing on Go and Kubernetes.

Currently, Gábor is working at Alpaca as a Software Engineer, specializing in Go and Kubernetes.

Throughout their career, Gábor has gained extensive experience in software engineering, devops, and cloud development.

Gábor Lekeny completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Engineering from Kálmán Kandó College of Technology, which they attended from 1993 to 1996. Before that, they studied Computer Programming at László Kamlár Secondary School of Computer Technology between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, Gábor obtained several certifications related to Kubernetes, including CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, and CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator. These certifications were obtained from The Linux Foundation in 2022, 2020, and 2020, respectively.
