Alfredo Carrasco has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Alfredo started their career at GE in 1990, holding various roles in technical sales, application, and market development for GE Plastics. In 1997, they joined Eastman Chemical Company and worked in business development and sales. In 2007, Alfredo joined Alpek as the Commercial Manager for Mexico, North Latin America, and the Caribbean. Alfredo later moved on to become the Procurement and Logistics Director for the USA and Canada. Currently, Alfredo holds the position of Sr. Director of Global Raw Materials Procurement at Alpek.

Alfredo Carrasco obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the Jack Welch Management Institute between 2015 and 2018. Prior to this, they completed a program in General Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2011. Alfredo also holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, which they received between 2001 and 2003. Alfredo began their education by earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional between 1987 and 1992.
