José Carlos Pons

José Carlos Pons has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. José started their career at Whirlpool Corporation as an Industrial Engineering professional. José then moved to Nemak, where they held various roles such as Corporate Central Planning Manager, Corporate Financial Planning, Program Manager, Commercial Account Manager, and eventually Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development. After that, they served as the Managing Director of the Business Unit South America and Vice President of Business Development at Nemak. In 2018, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Alpek. Currently, they are working at Tecnológico de Monterrey as a member of the Committee on Finance and Investments. José also has experience in the public sector as a member of the Advisory Council for the Municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia.

José Carlos Pons completed their education in a chronological order. José first attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Later, they pursued an MBA degree at EGADE from 1999 to 2001, specializing in Business Administration. In 2009, they briefly attended IPADE, focusing on Business Administration in the AD1 program.
