Following this, they enrolled at Cornell University for their undergraduate studies, attaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Luis dedicated five years of their life to this program, from 2012 to 2017. In 2020, they decided to further enhance their academic qualifications by embarking on a Master's degree in Applied Bioengineering at the University of Washington. Luis successfully completed this program in 2021.
