Gabby Ordaz

Gabby Ordaz has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gabby is currently working as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP since August 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at ALPFA, Inc - Association of Latino Professionals For America, starting as an Associate of Student Affairs in September 2017, then progressing to Director of Student Affairs in May 2021, and finally becoming the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Operations in April 2023.

Before joining ALPFA, Inc, Gabby worked at Deloitte as a Senior Diversity & Technology Campus Recruiting Specialist from May 2021 to August 2021. Gabby also served as a Diversity & Technology Campus Recruiting Specialist from September 2018 to May 2021, and as a Campus Recruiting Specialist (Coverage Role) from July 2018 to September 2018. Prior to Deloitte, they were a Senior Campus Recruiting Coordinator at the same company from July 2016 to September 2018.

Gabby's earlier work experience includes roles such as an Educational Technologist/Student Fellow at NYU Stern School of Business- W.R Berkley Innovation Lab from January 2013 to June 2016, a Research Assistant at NYU Community Oppression Research and Engagement (C.O.R.E) Team from January 2015 to May 2016, a Recruitment Counselor at New York University from March 2015 to September 2015, and an Undergraduate Intern at PACIFIC COAST PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATES, LLC from May 2015 to August 2015.

Furthermore, Gabby worked as a Research Assistant/Video Administrator at Yale University Careers, specifically at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, from October 2014 to June 2015. Gabby also served as a Welcome Week Leader at New York University, Student Resource Center in August 2014, and as a Youth Development Professional at Boys & Girls Clubs of America from June 2014 to August 2014.

Gabby Ordaz attended Sunny Hills High School from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Gabby then enrolled at New York University in 2012 and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Psychology. In 2014, Gabby also participated in a study abroad program at NYU Prague. Additionally, in June 2015, they obtained certification in CPR & First Aid.
