Jenni K.

Jenni K. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jenni started their career as a Photographic Consultant at Dan's Camera City in 2004, where they managed departmental operations and trained employees. Jenni also worked as a Licensing Analyst at Penn Treaty Network America, where they processed licensing contracts and fees and collaborated with the IT department to develop a program for organizing renewal deadlines.

In 2010, Jenni had an internship at Cedar Crest College, where they conducted population genomic analysis of natural selection on codon bias in Cryptococcus neoformans. Jenni also conducted freshman biology research, searching for Cryptococcus and Rhodotorula on the college campus.

From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Bioinformatics Intern and then as a QA/QC Reporting Specialist at Duke University and Hampton-Clarke, Inc., respectively. Jenni analyzed population genomic data and maintained fluency on Environment Protection Agency based SOPs while ensuring laboratory data met quality control criteria.

In 2014, Jenni became the QA/QC Reporting & Production Supervisor at Hampton-Clarke, Inc., where they prioritized client and manager requests, collaborated with the lab to ensure project completion, and regulated workflow for analysts and support staff.

In 2017, they joined Alpha Analytical as an Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) Products & LIMS Support Specialist - IT. Jenni reviewed electronic lab data for inconsistencies, communicated with the IT department for validation failures, and alerted lab and project management for data inaccuracies.

Jenni's most recent role as a Project Manager Assistant at Alpha Analytical involved monitoring and logging sampling events and organizing daily task lists for project management and login departments.

Jenni K. completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography, Graphic Design, and Mathematics from William Paterson University of New Jersey, from 1997 to 2002. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Cedar Crest College. In 2013, Jenni attended the University of Bridgeport as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor Candidate. Currently, they are working towards a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Herbal Product Design, and Health Coaching from Maryland University of Integrative Health, starting from 2017 and expected to complete in 2022. In addition, Jenni also received training in Yoga Practitioner from Ananta Yoga Studio in 2017-2018 and became a Reiki Master Practitioner in the same time frame from the same institution.
