Marco Berti Soares

Marco Berti Soares has extensive work experience in the field of analytical chemistry. Marco started their career at IPEN, where they participated in the scientific initiation program and conducted research on trace element determination in human dental tissues. Marco then joined CEIMIC Análises Ambientais, where they worked as an Analytical Chemist and Laboratory Supervisor. In this role, they performed organic extractions and analyzed samples using Gas Chromatography. Marco was also responsible for implementing and validating the first TO-15 lab in Brazil according to ISO17025 standards.

Afterwards, Marco worked at Syngenta - NGS CONSULTORIA as a Chemistry professional. Here, they validated and performed analytical tests in vegetable matrices using HPLC, LC/MS/MS, and GC/MS. Marco also analyzed control samples and samples irrigated with agrochemicals to evaluate control limits and safety application doses.

Later, Marco joined Estre Ambiental as a Laboratory Manager, overseeing the laboratory's operations. Marco then moved to Alpha Analytical, where they held various roles, including Analytical Chemist, Production Coordinator, Team Leader, and currently, Organic Technical Manager. In their current position, Marco is responsible for overseeing organic technical operations within the company.

Between 1996 and 1999, they attended Escola SENAI Suiço - Brasileiro, where they earned a Technician degree focusing on Mechanical Precision. Following this, from 2001 to 2005, Marco enrolled at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they completed their undergraduate studies in Chemistry.
