Despoina Makka

Despoina Makka is a seasoned talent acquisition and employer branding specialist currently employed at Alpha Bank since January 2023, responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process and collaborating with HR Business Partners. Prior to this role, Despoina worked as a Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist at attica Department Stores S.A. from October 2021 to January 2023, focusing on recruitment, induction, and training initiatives. Despoina's experience also includes a tenure at Vodafone, where roles included Internal Trainer and Resourcing Consultant in the Human Resources Department, overseeing training for retail representatives and leading recruitment efforts for various functions. Despoina holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Diploma in Digital HRM & Analytics from the University of Northampton, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Sociology from Panteion University and Social Sciences from Université Paris Cité.
