Thomas Vlachos

Thomas Vlachos has extensive work experience in various roles related to data management, data quality control, and IT. Thomas is currently working at Alpha Bank as the Lead Solution Architect for Data Management and Data Quality Control. Prior to this, they worked at QUALCO as a Data Lead. Before that, Thomas worked at IBM Global Business Services as an Advisory IT Specialist, Associate IT Specialist, and IT Specialist. Thomas also had experience working as an Application Developer at Vodafone Greece and GNT.

Thomas Vlachos holds an MSc in IT systems management, which they obtained from the National Technical University of Athens from 2002 to 2004. Thomas also holds a Diploma in Electrical and computer engineering, which they obtained from the same university from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained multiple certifications in various fields such as Hadoop, Agile, Big Data, NoSQL, Data Science, R Statistics, and Statistics Foundations, among others. The institutions where they obtained these certifications include IBM and LinkedIn.
