Arun P. Iyer

Arun P. Iyer has worked in various roles across multiple companies since 1998. Arun began their career as the Founder of Virtual Internet Africa, a startup internet and e-commerce company. In 2003, they founded and grew a multi-location CPA practice with five offices across the State of Florida, which was sold in 2011. From 2007 to 2021, they have held multiple roles in Alpha Direct Insurtech Pte. Ltd., Alpha Direct Insurance Co., Flo-Tek Africa, and InsourcePro. Most recently, they have been the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Direct Insurtech Pte. Ltd., where they are leveraging Cloud, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence to deliver compelling insurance products to Africa. Arun has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Direct Insurance Co., where their mission is to \"Save People Money on insurance while providing an incredible customer experience''. In addition, they have been a Director of Flo-Tek Africa, a leading manufacturer and supplier of Pipes, Fittings, Tanks and Irrigation products, and Chairman & CEO of InsourcePro, a global talent solutions company.

Arun P. Iyer has had a varied educational history. Arun began their educational journey in 1988 at Crescent Primary School, where they obtained their PSLE in 1995. Arun then attended Lobatse Senior Secondary School (Lobsec) in 1996, where they obtained their Form 3 O'Level. Following this, they attended the University of London in 1996-1997, where they obtained their O' Level Certificate. In 1998, they attended the University of Botswana and obtained their BAcc in Accounting in 2002. Arun then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002-2003, where they obtained their MS in Accountancy. After this, they attended Harvard Business School in 2012 and obtained their Private Equity & Venture Capital Program. In 2018, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and obtained their Stanford Seed Transformation Program in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Arun is currently attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they are pursuing a Legatum Foundry Fellowship in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, they have obtained a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 2012 and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Florida Board of Accountancy (DBPR) in 2005.
