Pascale Fung

Pascale Fung is an accomplished academic and industry leader in artificial intelligence, currently serving as Director at Meta since April 2024 and holding the position of Chair Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since January 1997, where also directs the Centre for AI Research (CAiRE). Previously, Pascale Fung held key roles at Meta as a Chair Professor and Distinguished Consultant for Responsible AI, as well as serving as a Consultant in the NLP LATTE group at Facebook. Pascale Fung earned a PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University between 1992 and 1996 and also studied at Ecole centrale Paris.
