Andrea Baez

Andrea Baez is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Mu Sigma Chapter, since April 2022. With a background in education and research, Baez served as a tutor in the SDSU Pathways Service-Learning Tutoring Program from March 2022 to May 2023, providing assistance to a kindergarten class while communicating with the partner teacher about student progress. Prior experience includes working as a cashier at Leon Produce from May 2021 to October 2021 and as a student researcher at Scripps Research in May 2019, where collaboration involved the creation of novel objects for behavioral trials, focusing on memory formation in mice. Baez holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from San Diego State University, one in Psychology and another in Spanish.
