Cristina M. Perez

Cristina M. Perez, CPA has worked in various roles throughout their career. Cristina M. started as an Audit Intern at PwC in 2005 and later became an Audit Associate and then an Audit Senior Associate. In 2008, they joined Alpha Natural Resources as a Senior Accountant in Public Reporting and progressed to Manager, Senior Manager, and Director in Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting. In 2016, they moved to Contura Energy, where they held positions as Director and Senior Director in Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting, and later became the Vice President of Financial Reporting. Most recently, since 2021, they have been working at Alpha Metallurgical Resources as the Vice President of Financial Reporting and Tax.

Cristina M. Perez, CPA began their education by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a Collateral in International Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Cristina M. attended the university from 2003 to 2007. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Accountancy degree from the same institution in 2008.
