Ed Green

Ed Green possesses extensive experience in sourcing and materials management, currently serving as Senior Director of Sourcing Support at Alpha Metallurgical Resources since February 2021. Prior roles include Senior Director of Sourcing Support at Contura Energy and Alpha Natural Resources, where Ed contributed significantly from January 2017 to February 2021 and July 2009 to January 2017, respectively. Ed's career began with positions as Materials Manager at Foundation Coal Corporation and Drummond Company, followed by a role as Director of Purchasing at Murray Energy Corporation. Ed's career in materials management commenced at Cyprus Shoshone Coal Company, where a position as Materials Manager was held from January 1989 to October 1996.
