Hunter Stanley

Hunter Stanley is a Mining Engineer at Alpha Metallurgical Resources since June 2023. Previously, Hunter served as a Bus Driver at Blacksburg Transit from April 2021 to May 2023 and completed a Coal Prep Plant Internship at Coronado Global Resources Inc. in early 2023. Earlier experience includes an Engineering Internship at Salem Stone Corporation and various roles as a Coal Miner at Big D Enterprises and Millcreek Mining Inc. Hunter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Welding Technology from Mountain Empire Community College. Additional studies were completed at The University of Virginia's College at Wise.
