David Lin

David Lin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software research and development, currently serving as the Software R&D Senior Director at ALPHA Networks Inc. since April 2006. In this role, David leads teams in advancing Deep Learning on Edge platforms and was instrumental in developing the first Apple HomeKit camera. Previous positions include Software R&D Director at ALPHA Networks, where David guided the development of various IP Surveillance products, and R&D Associate V.P. at QNAP Systems, overseeing the creation of DVRs and NVRs. David's earlier career includes significant roles at IEI Integration Corp. and pAsia, focusing on surveillance products and internet applications, respectively. David holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, both obtained from National Chiao Tung University.
