Chris Cole is a senior business development professional with over 36 years’ of diversified business experience working in challenging technical environments. For the past 20 years, Chris has successfully led the business development efforts of four mid-sized, federally focused IT consulting companies within the Homeland Security and Intelligence Community markets. He has a proven track record of success closing on major strategic business opportunities that propel companies into the national security market with solid, multi-year contracts that provide the revenue and technical foundation for continued growth. Chris specializes in developing and executing successful business development plans tailored to the unique requirements of emerging small to mid-tier, federally focused technical consulting firms. He is also a seasoned operations management professional with solid experience leading multi-million dollar business units comprised of highly technical personnel delivering mission critical solutions to National Security organizations. Prior to joining Alpha Omega Integration, Chris successfully led Sevatec’s strategic business development team and strategy in the Homeland Security business sector. Working directly with the CEO of Sevatec, he was responsible for developing and executing comprehensive annual strategic business development plans focused on leveraging Sevatec’s core technical capabilities in agile software development, DEVSECOPS, cloud engineering and cybersecurity. As a direct result of Chris’ business development leadership and contract wins over the past 4 years, Sevatec became the fourth most successful DHS Eagle 2 prime contractor (162 total Eagle 2 prime contract holders) and firmly established Sevatec as a major player in the Homeland Security market. Prior to Sevatec, Chris held numerous executive level positions at the Blackstone Technology Group, Lockheed Martin and PEC Solutions, all focused on growing and sustaining business in the National Security mission space.
