David Sheridan

David Sheridan has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. David currently holds the role of VP Wide Bandgap Products at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of SiC and GaN Power Products at the same company from June 2015 to May 2022.

Before joining Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, David worked at RFMD as the Director of Engineering, Power Conversion Products from August 2012 to April 2015. In this role, they built and managed a team of engineers focused on developing high-voltage GaN technology and products for power conversion applications, achieving significant efficiency improvements.

David also has experience at SemiSouth Laboratories, Inc., where they held the positions of VP Technology Development from June 2011 to August 2012, and Director of Engineering from February 2006 to June 2011. At SemiSouth, they contributed to the company's technology development and engineering efforts.

Earlier in their career, David worked at IBM as an Advisory Engineer from 2001 to 2006.

David Sheridan obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, starting in 1990 and completing their degree in 2000.
