Jeff L Nilles

Jeff L Nilles is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in analog design and power electronics. Currently, Nilles serves as a Principal Analog Design Engineer at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor since March 2020, focusing on power electronics control. Prior to this role, Nilles worked at National Semiconductor for nearly two decades, where responsibilities included analog design engineering, integrated circuit design in BiCMOS, and serving as Power Analog Design Manager leading DC/DC power switcher and LDO design groups until the company's acquisition by Texas Instruments in 2011. Nilles then transitioned to Texas Instruments as a Power Technologist and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff from 2009 to March 2020, specializing in BiCMOS DC/DC switchers and the development of new technologies for power semiconductor controllers. Nilles began a career in analog design at Crosspoint Solutions Semiconductor, focusing on programmable gate arrays in high voltage CMOS. Nilles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
