Jintae Kim

Jintae Kim is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in power electronics with a robust background in application engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Application Engineering at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor since July 2022, Jintae previously held the role of Principal Engineer at 솔루엠, where the focus was on developing various power supply solutions. Jintae's tenure at ON Semiconductor spanned over 16 years, working as an Integrated Power Switch Principal Engineer and Manager, with expertise in semiconductor systems, charger applications, and power supply design. Earlier professional experiences include engineering roles at Samsung Heavy Industries, conducting research on power supplies for automation industrial robots, and at Ensys, where the focus was on AC/DC power supplies and converters. Jintae holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics Engineering and a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
