Frank Chen (Lin) has a diverse and extensive work experience in power electronics and application engineering. Lin (frank) started their career as an R&D engineer at Delta Electronics, where they developed new power electronics products and technologies for UPS business development opportunities. Lin (frank) then worked as a senior application engineer at STMicroelectronics, where they continued to develop power electronics products and technologies and provided technical support to customers. Frank also worked as a power electronics engineer at the Florida Power Electronics Center, before joining the University of Central Florida as a research associate. At the university, they worked on various research projects focused on improving power conversion efficiency and power system operation. Currently, they are employed at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor as a director of application engineering, where they oversee various roles including application management, training, technical support, and developing new product platforms. Lin (frank)'sexpertise lies in power semiconductor devices, prototyping, simulation, and cross-functional coordination.

Lin (Frank) Chen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Power Electronics from the University of Central Florida. Lin (frank) attended the university from 2010 to 2014.
