Rhys Philbrick

Rhys Philbrick has a diverse work experience in the semiconductor industry. Rhys currently works at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor as the VP of Design Engineering, a role they started in March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal Analog IC Design at the same company from May 2019 to March 2021. Before joining Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, Rhys served as the Director of Design at Renesas Electronics from July 2017 to May 2019. Rhys also worked as an Engineering Director at Dialog Semiconductor from May 2016 to July 2017. Rhys'searlier roles include serving as the Senior Design Manager at Renesas Electronics (Intersil) from November 2006 to May 2016, an Analog IC Design Engineer at Semtech from March 2003 to November 2006, and an Analog IC Design Engineer at California Micro Devices from June 2000 to March 2003.

Rhys Philbrick completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The University of Queensland from 1996 to 1999. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Microelectronics at The University of Bolton.
