Brian Smiga

Brian Smiga has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Brian is a Partner/Co-founder at Alpha Partners, where they evaluate investment opportunities, manages relationships, and provides expertise to portfolio companies. Brian is also a Board Member at Roothbert Fund Inc. Additionally, Smiga is the Founder of TEDxAsburyPark, organizing various TEDx events. Brian has served as an Advisor for multiple companies including Ease Learning, Albert, Vydia, Catalyzr, and Vertalo at Adgorithms. Smiga has been the General Manager at Telaria, where they managed the P&L for Videohub Marketplace and established new license deals. Brian was the Director of New Products at Knovel, formulating the company's strategy for new product development. Smiga also served as the VP of Business Development at Smilebox, developing partner strategies and closing deals to increase revenue. Prior to that, they founded and served as the CEO of Preclick, where they developed and licensed digital media software and web applications. Brian successfully sold Preclick to Smilebox. Smiga has also held the position of CEO at 3Path, a BRM Company, and SVP of Business Development and Marketing at CMGI - Exchange Path, where they played a crucial role in the company's sale.

Brian Smiga attended Swarthmore College, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Brian then went on to attend Trinity College Dublin, where they obtained an M Phil in Literature.
