Douglas John Hacker

Douglas John Hacker is an experienced educator currently teaching history to middle school students at Alpha Blanca Alvarado within Alpha Public Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, Douglas served as a 6th grade science and social studies teacher and a track and field and cross country coach at Pitt County Schools, where responsibilities included training student athletes and motivating them academically. Additional experience includes a position as a substitute teacher for a range of grades and earlier roles in property management as a leasing consultant and agent. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts in German and History from The Ohio State University and has also pursued further education at East Carolina University.
