Robert Delves

Robert Delves is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in planning, investment, and community development. As a Planning Commissioner for the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea since June 2020, Robert focuses on preserving the architectural integrity of the community through design reviews. In addition, Robert serves as an Advisor and Limited Partner at the Center on Rural Innovation Fund, and holds prominent roles in multiple companies, including Founding Investor and Chairman of the Board at Proximity Space, and founding board member at Alpha Recon and MUNIRevs. With a background in economic development through Mountain Town Solutions and leadership positions in various non-profit organizations, Robert has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing rural communities. Robert's previous role as Chief Operating Officer for Twin Buttes of Durango involved overseeing a significant mixed-use development project, and Robert has a background in agriculture as the owner of DelvoCado Farm. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Miami University.
