Alpha Rho Chi
Abbinaya Narayanan, WELL AP, is an emerging architect with experience in healthcare architecture and research. Recently served as an Architect at Infrabees Project Management Consultants Pvt Ltd, focusing on compassionate design. Previously, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, conducted qualitative research on gender roles in fieldwork in India, particularly regarding Indian women's experiences in primary education data collection. Earlier experiences include summer roles at the Rhode Island School of Design and Boston School of Architecture, where foundational architectural skills were developed. Abbinaya is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, following a high school diploma from Moses Brown School.
Alpha Rho Chi
Founded in 1914, Alpha Rho Chi (APX) is the national fraternity for architecture and the allied arts. Our co-ed organization unites members for the purpose of fellowship and lifelong friendships and our mutual interest in professional development. This is exemplified by the fraternity’s motto: Fidelitas, Amor et Artes or “Fidelity and Love of the Arts.” Student and alumni members study and practice architecture, interior design, architectural engineering, landscape architecture, and related disciplines. Alpha Rho Chi is a charter member of the Professional Fraternity Association.
