Dolev Abelson has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Dolev started their career at Xsight Systems in 2016, where they served as the Global Operations Manager until 2018. In 2019, Dolev worked as a Chemical Engineer at IEC - Israel Electric Corporation. Later that year, they joined Alpha Tau Medical, initially working as a Research and Development Engineer. In January 2021, they transitioned into the role of Process Development Engineer at the same company.

Initially developed at Tel Aviv University, Alpha DaRT was shown to be effective and safe for treating different types of cancer in multiple animal studies. The company is running its first clinical trial in several sites in the EU and is currently commencing clinical trials at over 55 leading cancer centers worldwide.
