Reut Shechter started their work experience in 2011 as an Intelligence Analyst at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200. Reut then worked as an Intelligence Analyst at Unit 9900 - Israeli Intelligence Corps from 2013 to 2014. In 2016, they joined Tower Semiconductor as a photolithography process Engineer in a student position. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Currently, they hold the position of R&D materials engineer at Alpha Tau Medical starting from August 2021.
Reut Shechter completed their education at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. From 2014 to 2018, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Reut then pursued further studies at the same institution from 2019 to 2021, earning a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering. Reut'sresearch during this time focused on the colloidal synthesis and optical properties of perovskite nanoparticles.

Alpha Tau Medical (https://www.alphatau.com/) focuses on research, development and commercialization of Alpha DaRT (Diffusing Alpha-Emitters Radiation Therapy) for the treatment of solid cancer tumors. Initially developed at Tel Aviv University, Alpha DaRT was shown to be effective and safe for treating different types of cancer in multiple animal studies. The company is running its first clinical trial in several sites in the EU and is currently commencing clinical trials at over 55 leading cancer centers worldwide.
