Thomas Martin

Thomas Martin has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Thomas began their career in 2000 as an Equity Trader at Goldman Sachs. In 2004, they moved to Level Global Investors, where they served as Co-Portfolio Manager and Head of Risk Management. Here, they co-managed a multi-sector equity portfolio and interacted extensively with sector PM's on capital allocation, trade sizing and structure. Thomas also executed cross-asset investing and hedging strategies. In 2012, they became a Proprietary Trader/Portfolio Manager at FNY Capital Management and Quad Capital. In 2016, they joined Alpha Theory Advisors as a Partner in Consulting Services, where they consulted Portfolio Managers, & CIO's and on investment process, portfolio construction, risk management, and strategy. In 2017, they became a Strategic Advisor & Investor at Curated Care, Inc, where they connected families with artists and teachers for activity-based child care. Finally, in 2019, Thomas Martin joined JOBY Aviation as Business Development & Strategy and Business Development Manager.
