John Pilzner CTS-D CQD CQT

John Pilzner CTS-D CQD CQT has worked in the audiovisual industry since 2002. John began their career as a Senior Installer/ Project Manager/ Installation Manager with Audio Video Innovations in 2002. In 2004, they moved to Imagine Audio Video as a Project Manager/ Design Engineer. In 2005, they joined AVAI as a Project Engineer. From 2008 to 2010, they worked with Custom Systems Integration as a Project Engineer/ Project Manager. From 2010 to 2013, they worked with Immedia LLC as an Audiovisual Design Engineer. From 2013 to 2019, they worked with Level 3 Audio Visual as an Audiovisual Design Engineer and Interim Director of Engineering. Since 2019, they have been with E1 Audiovisual Technologies as an Audiovisual Design Engineer and, most recently, they joined Alpha Video as a Senior AV Systems Design Engineer in 2021.

John Pilzner holds a Bachelor degree in Music Education from Eastern Michigan University, which they obtained from 1976 to 1979. John then attended Wayne State University from 1979 to 1980, studying Jazz Studies. In 1999, they attended Mesa Community College Business and Industry Institute. In addition, John holds a number of certifications, including Certified Technology Specialist- Design (CTS-D) from AVIXA, Q-SYS Level 1 Training from QSC, Shure Microflex Wireless Technical Training and Shure Microflex Advance Training from Shure Incorporated, DMC-D from Crestron Electronics, Sound Reinforcement for Technicians from SynAudCon, Soundweb London Level 1 Certified from BSS Audio, XTP-E from Extron Electronics, CQL Quality Assurance Leader-AV from The Association for Quality in Audio Visual Technology, Inc. (AQAV), DigitalMedia 4K Update from Crestron Electronics, School of Emerging Technologies 4K from Extron, Installed Voice Technical Certification IVOT200 and Video Endpoints Technical Certification RPEOT200 from Poly, and TesiraFORTÉ TRAINING COURSE from Biamp. John also holds Logitech Rally Specialist 2022, Logitech Swytch Specialist 2022, Logitech Sync Specialist 2022, and Logitech Video Bars Specialist 2022 certifications from Logitech.
