Richard Funderburg

Richard Funderburg has a long and varied work experience in the audio/visual field. In 2020, they began working as a Field Team Manager for Alpha Video, providing overall leadership to the field team and ensuring that Alpha's installation teams perform to expectations with excellence. From 2018-2020, they worked as an AV Engineer for Life Time Inc., reviewing and redlining drawings, awarding vendor bids, and project managing the integration of AV equipment. From 2017-2018, they were the Owner of Crystal Digital Media, LLC, a company focused on consulting for audio visual needs for both corporate and houses of worship. From 2016-2017, they worked as the Director of Technical Arts for Wooddale Church, creating a new standard of production excellence and growing the church's capabilities. From 2015-2016, they were the Video Director for REACH Communications, leading the video side of the event production team and providing expertise for the events team. From 2014-2015, they were the Production Director for Hosanna Lutheran Church, creating an organizational structure for the team and developing job descriptions for each team member. From 2014-2013, they were the Video Development Director for AUTUMN RIDGE CHURCH, creating a master plan to guide the development of a video evangelism ministry. From 2013-2005, they worked at Eagle Brook Church, developing methodology for directing IMAG, managing a large budget, coordinating manpower for installations quarterly, defining process and procedures for weekend operations, writing standard operating procedures, and creating and designing production elements. Finally, from 2003-2013, they worked as a Contractor/Ministry Leader for Mount Ararat Baptist Church, updating their home video system, developing a team of volunteers, and producing videos for worship services.

Richard Funderburg's education history includes graduating from North Stafford High School in 1994 with a general studies degree. Richard has also obtained seven additional certifications, including Smaart Operator Fundamentals Live Online (Level 1) from Rational Acoustics in February 2021, 30-hour OSHA Outreach for General Industry from the University of South Florida in January 2021, Qsc QSYS Control 101 from QSC in August 2020, QSC Q-SYS Level 2 Classroom Training from QSC in March 2019, QSC Q-SYS Level 1 Training from QSC in August 2018, Management & Leadership Skills for First Time Managers from Rockhurst University Continuing Education Center in May 2009, and QSC QSYS Video 101 from QSC in December 2019.
