Alexandru Popescu

Alexandru is a co-founder and previously a managing director and investment manager in the asset management industry, focusing on alternative investments. He has a background in Business Informatics and received a PhD in Economics from the University of Lugano (USI), which he obtained after leaving the industry, motivated by the desire of expanding his theoretical knowledge and gaining further research experience. During his stay at USI, he acted as research data steward and cloud computing pioneer.
