Ashley Hall

Managing Director, Institutional at Alpha Group

Ashley Hall has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Ashley started their career as a Foreign Exchange Trader at Cambridge Global Payments, where they managed a portfolio of over 200 clients. Ashley consistently ranked as one of the top two billing dealers on the UK floor.

Hall then joined AFEX, where they held two roles. First, as the Head of Desk for UK Corporate, they managed a team of 6 corporate account executives and focused on helping enterprise corporates and institutions effectively manage their FX exposures. Next, they founded the Fund and Institutional business unit at AFEX and served as the Global Sales Director. Ashley developed go-to-market plans across Europe for managing alternative investment managers' FX strategies and contributed to Bloomberg and other media outlets on FX risks in private equity.

Currently, Hall works at Alpha Group as the Managing Director for Institutional. Alpha is a specialist in alternative account and foreign exchange services, and Hall is responsible for overseeing operations and guiding institutional clients in managing their currency exposures. Alpha has attracted investment from well-known institutions such as M&G, Old Mutual, and the Soros Fund.

Ashley Hall attended the University of Surrey from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc Hons) in Economics and Business Studies. In 2010, they also obtained two additional certifications from CISI, namely "Unit 1: Principles of Financial Regulation" and "Unit 3: Derivatives."
