Sophie Ballard

Sophie Ballard is a seasoned professional in the finance industry with extensive experience in pension distribution and institutional sales. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of UK Pension Distribution at Nuveen, a TIAA company, Sophie has held various roles that include Director of UK Institutional Sales and Vice President of UK Strategic Partners at State Street Global Advisors. With a focus on business growth and relationship management, Sophie has successfully driven initiatives involving institutional platforms, defined contribution (DC) master trusts, and pension clients. Prior to joining State Street, Sophie worked at Euromoney Institutional Investor as an Institutional Relations Manager, where strong connections were established with senior-level UK institutional investors. Sophie holds an Investment Management Certificate and a Post Graduate Certificate in International Business, alongside a degree in History from the University of Nottingham.
