Markus Rossi is the CEO and co-founder of AlphaLum, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as the Chief Innovation Officer at Heptagon from 2000 to 2017 and held several roles at ams AG, including Vice President of the Innovation Office from 2020 to 2025. Rossi's earlier experience includes project management roles at CSEM Zurich and GretagMacbeth, as well as engineering at RPC Rochester Photonics Corporation. They earned a degree in physics from ETH Zürich and a Ph.D. in Micro-Optics from Université de Neuchâtel & PSI Zurich.
