Dario Karl

Dario Karl has a diverse background in human resources and organizational development. Dario most recently served as the VP of People & Organization at AlphaPet Ventures GmbH, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of People at Ratepay from 2022 to 2023.

From 2018 to 2022, Dario worked as the Human Resources Director at REMERGE - App Retargeting, where they led the global HR department and implemented various HR functions to support the company's growth. Before that, they held the position of Chief People & Organization Officer at MING Labs in 2017-2018, where they acted as a strategic and operational partner for the agency's HR needs.

Dario's earlier experiences include serving as a Human Resource Manager at PLUS International Medical Centre LLC from 2013 to 2016, where they established the HR function and managed recruitment for a medical facility. Dario also worked as a Human Resource Coordinator at Alcatel-Lucent from 2012 to 2013, overseeing day-to-day HR operations for over 200 staff members.

In addition, Dario gained experience as a Trainer & Facilitator from 2007 to 2012, where they conducted training programs. Dario also held the role of National Trainer Team at AIESEC Germany from 2011 to 2012, where they managed and implemented training initiatives for the organization.

Dario began their career as a Human Resource Intern at Otto International (Hong Kong) in 2010, where they audited and improved global training structures and processes. Dario also managed the implementation of a vocational training program.

Dario Karl's education history begins with their high school education at Heinrich-Hertz-Oberschule in Berlin from 2002 to 2005. During this time, they studied mathematics, English, and political sciences. Following their high school graduation, they pursued further education at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Dario obtained the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in June 2016.
