Daniam Castellanos

Danim Castellanos has held a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Técnico de campo/administrativo at Omoa Wireless/R&S Service and as an Encargado de IT at Jorge J. Larach y Cia. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Importadora Aguilar S.A. as an IT Incharge/Inventory Control (Product) and at OPC Operadora Portuaria Centroamericana, an ICTSI Group Company., as an IT Helpdesk. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Banco del Pais, S.A. as an Innovation Officer and a Distributed Systems Officer. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Maritime Holdings Group Inc. as an (IT) Communications Officer and at New Horizons HN as an Instructor. In 2021, they worked as a Subject Matter Expert/Volunteer at CompTIA and is currently working as a TechOps Engineer at AlphaPoint, managing, maintaining, and monitoring the different infrastructures for the project, as well as the monitoring and alerting stack.

Daniam Castellanos has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology / Informática Administrativa from Universidad de San Pedro Sula, which they earned in 2014. Prior to this, they obtained a Technician degree in Computers Technician / Bachiller en Computación from ITEE in 2007. Daniam has also obtained multiple certifications, including LPIC-2: Linux Engineer from the Linux Professional Institute in 2020, CompTIA PenTest+ from CompTIA in 2022, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) from Red Hat in 2021, CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2019, CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA in 2016, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) from Cisco in 2019, LPIC-1 : Linux System Administrator from the Linux Professional Institute in 2017, VMware Certified Associate 6 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in 2017, and ITIL Service Management Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner in 2017.
