Faisal Farooq

Faisal Farooq has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities in the tech industry. Faisal most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at AlphaRages, where they focused on operationalizing the company's strategies and implementing daily operations. Prior to that, Faisal worked as a Technical Project Manager at AlphaRages, leading a team of Software Developers and utilizing Agile methodologies for software development. Faisal also served as a DevOps Tech Lead at AlphaRages, where they were responsible for cloud support activities and daily server monitoring.

In addition to their experience at AlphaRages, Faisal also worked at membersy as a Cloud Solution Architect & DevOps Engineer. Faisal handled WordPress websites and Laravel & Python applications running on Digital Ocean & AWS Cloud. Before that, Faisal worked as a Remote Cloud Solution Architect & Lead DevOps Engineer at DevTeam24, where they focused on AWS architecture development and managed multiple Linux and Windows servers on various clouds.

Faisal's earlier experience includes working as a Network & System Support Engineer at RED SIGNAL, where they were responsible for system support and network activities, and as a Network Engineer at Green Origin pvt LHR, where they worked on VoIP and SMS Gateway systems.

Faisal started their career with an internship at PTCL, gaining valuable experience in the early stages of their professional journey.

Faisal Farooq began their education in 2008 at the MTB Higher Secondary School of Science SDK, where they pursued a degree in FSc with a field of study in ICS. Faisal completed their studies there in 2010. Following this, Faisal attended the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology from 2011 to 2014 and obtained an Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Faisal has also obtained various certifications. In 2014, they acquired the Red Hat Linux Enterprise V.6 certification from Corvit Systems Islamabad. Continuing their professional development, Faisal obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Linux Academy in April 2019. In the same month, they also completed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) program offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Recently, in June 2022, Faisal obtained certifications in Agile Project Management, Google Project Management: Specialization, and Kubernetes: Basic Architecture and First Deployment from Coursera.
