Ronan Baron

Ronan Baron, PhD, HDR, FRSC, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of physical chemistry and electrochemical gas sensors. Currently serving as Technical Director at Alphasense since 2009, Ronan has held various roles including Technical Manager and Senior Research Scientist, leading R&D projects and teams in the development of advanced sensing technologies. Prior to joining Alphasense, Ronan contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Oxford and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Physical Chemistry from Ecole nationale supérieure de Chimie de Rennes and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Université de Bretagne Occidentale.
