Mallikharjun Marrey

Additive Engineer II at AlphaSTAR

Mallikharjun Marrey has a diverse work experience in the field of additive manufacturing and engineering. Mallikharjun is currently working at AlphaSTAR as an Additive Engineer II, and previously held the position of Additive Engineer I at the same company. Prior to that, Mallikharjun worked at the State University of New York - System as a 3D Smartt Lab Coordinator, where they provided product development, additive manufacturing services, and training. Mallikharjun also served as a Volunteer Research Scientist and Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University College of Engineering, where their research focused on developing an end-to-end product development system using smart model-driven AM workflow and employing DfAM principles for optimization. Additionally, Mallikharjun worked as a Data Analyst for the Transportation Active Safety Institute (TASI) at Purdue University and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Mallikharjun also volunteered as a Virtual Presenter for Nepris Inc., conducting sessions on 3D printing in schools. Mallikharjun's earlier work experience includes serving as a Library Assistant at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and as a Process Engineering Intern at VISAKHAPATNAM STEEL PLANT, where they were involved in designing digital models and optimizing processes.

Mallikharjun Marrey graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada in 2015. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2019, Mallikharjun pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University College of Engineering.
