Juan MacIas

Juan Macias has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Juan started their career at ABB in 1990, where they held the position of VP Industrial Sales and GM Outdoor Products until 2005. From 2005 to 2008, Juan worked at GE Power as a Product General Manager for Construction Products. Juan then joined GE Digital Energy in 2008 as the General Manager of Grid Automation. In 2015, they transitioned to Schneider Electric, where they held various executive roles including Country President - Canada & SVP Energy BU - USA and SVP Digital Energy Solutions. Since 2019, Juan has been serving as the CEO of AlphaStruxure, a company specializing in customized Energy as a Service solutions for energy-intensive organizations.

Juan Macias holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University from 1986 to 1990. Juan also has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from New Mexico Military Institute, which they earned from 1984 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Juan Macias has obtained a certification in "Preparing to Be a Corporate Director" from the Harvard Business School Executive Education.
