Henrik Christensen

Henrik Christensen is a highly accomplished academic and entrepreneur in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, currently holding the Qualcomm Chancellor's Chair in Robot Systems and serving as the Director of the Contextual Robotics Institute at the University of California San Diego. With a distinguished career as a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, Christensen's research encompasses robotics, vision, and autonomy, with a focus on applications in everyday environments. As a co-founder of Robust.AI and ROBO Global, Christensen has been instrumental in developing advanced robotic technologies and investment frameworks for the robotics industry. Previously, Christensen directed the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines at Georgia Tech and led the Center for Autonomous Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Academic credentials include a PhD and an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalborg University.
