Shungo Arai

Shungo Arai began their career in 2004 as a Production Manager in TV-Commercial Film Production at AOI Pro. In 2007, they moved to CyberAgent, Inc. as a Chief Strategic Planner in Marketing. In 2010, they joined Baidu Japan as Marketing & Communications Lead in Japan. In 2011, they became Head of Business Development, Marketing & Communications in Korea at GREE, Inc. In 2014, they began working at Mikatus\u682a\u5f0f\u4f1a\u793e as VP of Corporate Planning and Administration, and then as VP of Business Strategy. In 2017, they joined Alphaus, Inc. (former Mobingi K.K.) as Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer, and then as Director in Malaysia. In 2019, they became a Member of the FinOps Foundation.

Shungo Arai has a Master of Managememt of Technology from the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2021, where they studied Technology and Innovation Managememt. Shungo also has a Bachelor of Arts - BA from The University of Tokyo from 1999 to 2004, where they studied Philosophy (Aesthetics). Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications including AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business) and AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, Alumni, Global Launch Program (Batch 4, Singapore) from 500 Global in September 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in April 2020, Alumni, Global Acceleration Academy from HKSTP - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation in March 2019, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, Google Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader from Google in May 2022, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in July 2022, and FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in June 2022.
