Jacques van der Merwe

Jacques van der Merwe is a skilled developer with extensive experience in mobile and web development. Currently serving as a Senior iOS Developer at Alphero since July 2023, Jacques previously held the position of Fullstack Mobile Developer at FONK Cape Town from August 2017 to June 2023, where successful iOS and Flutter applications were developed and launched. Prior experience includes freelance work on an augmented reality game called Skate Now, and roles at Masters & Savant as a 3D Generalist and iOS Developer, and as a 3D Visualizer at TAG YACHTS. Jacques began a career in technology as an IT Technician at Tech Data Computers. Jacques holds a qualification from The Animation School and graduated from Nico Malan High School.
