Julian Guthrie

Julian Guthrie is the Founder and CEO of Alphy, a position held since January 2020. Previously, Julian served as an Advisory Board Member at the Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination from January 2019 to January 2020. Julian's journalistic career includes over 15 years at the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGATE, where a diverse range of stories about various individuals was covered. In addition to journalism, Julian is the author of three nonfiction books: "The Grace of Everyday Saints," "The Billionaire and The Mechanic," and "How to Make a Spaceship," all of which focus on underdog narratives.
