Trevor Husted

Trevor Husted is an experienced guide and educator currently working with Alpenglow Expeditions and Golden State Guiding, among other outdoor organizations. With a diverse background in ski guiding and course instruction at Tahoe Mountain School and Shasta Mountain Guides, Trevor has also contributed as a guide for Alpine Ascents International. In addition to hands-on guiding, Trevor is an established freelance writer, producing content for various publications including Outside Magazine, Ski Magazine, and The Inertia, focusing on backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and action sports. Trevor's earlier experience includes roles in field marketing with Clif Bar & Company and as a trip leader for Backroads in multiple international destinations. Academically, Trevor holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Sierra Nevada College and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Washington State University.
