Michelle McTimoney

Sport Medicine Physician at Alpine Canada Alpin

Michelle McTimoney is a PEM physician who has extensive experience working in various healthcare settings. Currently, Michelle is employed at Alberta Children's Hospital and has been with the company since June 2014. Prior to this, Michelle worked at IWK Health from July 2000 to May 2014. In addition to their medical work, Michelle also serves as a Sport Medicine physician for Alpine Canada Alpin since August 2009. Michelle's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Dalhousie University, as well as specialized training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Sports Medicine from Harvard University and the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine. Michelle is currently pursuing further education at the Co-Active Training Institute.

Alpine Canada Alpin

Alpine Canada is the governing body for alpine, para-alpine and ski cross racing in Canada, as well as for Canadian ski coaches, providing education, certification, insurance and compliance with the coaching code of conduct.
