Michael Salema

Michael Salema is an experienced professional in product development and manufacturing within the biopharmaceutical industry. As of January 2021, Michael has served as Executive Director of Product Development and Manufacturing at Alpine Immune Sciences, Inc., following a role as Senior Director in the same department. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Director, Head of Upstream Process Development at Lundbeck from November 2019 to February 2021. Michael's earlier experience includes roles as Associate Director and Senior Scientist in Process Engineering at Alder Biopharmaceuticals Inc. and significant tenure at Amgen, where Michael progressed from Sr. Associate Scientist to Principal Engineer. Michael began a career in process development and manufacturing at Immunex before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puget Sound.
